What does Pinpoint actually do?

Two things, and you can have either or both. We put paying advertisers on the screen your machine already has, and we find, pitch and sign the venue your machine stands in. 500+ machines placed so far.

How much can a screen earn?

$50–$100 a month per machine on average, and a busy location earns $500–$1,000. It is a band rather than a promise: what a screen takes depends on how many people walk past it. $100,000+ has been paid out to operators across the network to date.

What if my machine has no screen?

We ship you one free. The machine goes on selling exactly as it did — ads run between orders, and you keep a switch against every ad category in your dashboard.

How long does finding a location take?

About 3 months on average from order to a signed venue, and you watch it happen in your account. If we have not presented you a location within 6 months, everything you paid comes back.

What does the location service cost?

We quote it on a call, once we know the machine and the area, and before you pay anything. It is an enrollment fee to start — a refundable deposit plus a processing fee — and if we have not presented you a location within 6 months, all of it comes back. After that, a monthly placement fee, first due one month after you sign for a location, and the venue takes a share of revenue after cost of goods — typically 30–40% — while you keep the rest.

Do I have to choose between the two?

No, and one does not wait on the other. A machine with no location yet can still be earning from its screen the month after you call.
