Version 2026-09-v1. The key commercial terms below are the ones you acknowledge before paying; they are stored word-for-word with your acceptance. The full operator agreement is provided in your account before signature.
Key commercial terms
What you pay today — $1,000, fully refundable
Held as a deposit, not a fee. You get all of it back in either case: we don't place your machine within 6 months — full refund, no conditions; or your machine has been placed and operating for 12 months — deposit returned.
What the location costs — 30–40% of revenue to the venue
Every venue we sign takes a share of machine revenue, calculated after expenses. You'll see the exact percentage on each location before you choose it. You keep 60–70%.
What you pay us — $100 per month
Your licence fee for the space. It starts only when your machine is installed and operating, and continues for as long as your machine is at that location. If we never place you, you never pay it.
Your choice of location — up to 2 presented
We present up to 2 qualified locations. Turn them down and we keep searching at no extra cost.
Rematch guarantee
If your machine is removed from its location within the first 12 months through no fault of yours, we find and place you in a replacement location free of charge.
12-month minimum term
You agree to keep the machine at the location for at least 12 months. Leaving earlier forfeits the deposit.
The space is licensed to you, not leased
Pinpoint holds the agreement with the venue and grants you a revocable licence to place and operate your machine there. No tenancy, leasehold or other property interest is created. The machine remains yours; the space does not become yours.
Your obligations at the location
Keep the machine stocked, clean, operational and serviced within the agreed response time, and carry liability insurance naming Pinpoint as an additional insured. Failure to pay the monthly licence fee, or to meet these standards, ends the licence and the machine is removed.
Advertising on the machine
Advertising space on placed machines is sold and managed by Pinpoint's advertising partner. Content is controlled by Pinpoint and the partner.
Use of the website
By using this site you agree not to scrape, republish or contact venues identified through your account other than through Pinpoint. Listing data is provided for evaluating a placement and remains Pinpoint’s property. Accounts used to circumvent Pinpoint’s agreements with venues are closed and deposits on affected orders are forfeited.
Pinpoint makes no representation about the income you will earn from a placed machine. Foot-traffic figures are as reported by venues and sanity-checked by Pinpoint; they are not earnings claims.
This page is a plain-language summary and template pending review by counsel. Where it conflicts with the signed operator agreement, the agreement controls.
